On behalf of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association, Maricopa Chapter, I would like to welcome you to our website!  AWLA is an excellent opportunity for all members of the legal community to get involved in local and state wide activities. 

AWLA is a wonderful group of lawyers and judges!  It is a volunteer organization and many dedicated individuals provide countless hours to pursuing our goals and mission.  Our goal for 2009 is to promote and support one another while advancing the goals of our mission statement:

Arizona Women Lawyers Association promotes and encourages the success of women lawyers by providing members with information and support, by fostering connections among women lawyers, and by monitoring and celebrating the successes of members and women lawyers at large in our community.

As president of AWLA Maricopa Chapter, I, along with the help of our members, will emphasize our commitment to represent and foster in the legal community and the community-at-large the goals and objectives of women and women attorneys, and to collectively seek and pursue solutions to common problems.  We will accomplish our goals by helping one another, volunteering and joining the numerous committees AWLA has to offer.  Please take a few minutes to review the committees on this website and sign up to join one or more of those committees. 

I look forward to serving as the President of AWLA Maricopa Chapter this year.  But most of all, I look forward to working with each and every one of you and fulfilling your goals and commitment to this organization!
